Privacy Policy

Reason (“the app”) is made by Hansler Digital (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app does — and doesn’t do — with your information. In short: we don’t collect your data, and it stays in your control.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. The app has no accounts and no analytics.

Your data and iCloud sync

The goals, habits, reasons, reminders, and completion history you create are stored locally on your device.

If you’re signed in to iCloud, this data is also synced privately through Apple’s iCloud to your own iCloud account, so it stays up to date across your devices and is restored if you reinstall the app. It lives in your personal iCloud storage — it’s never sent to us, and we have no access to it. Apple’s handling of your iCloud data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

You stay in control: turn iCloud sync off at any time by disabling iCloud for Reason in your device’s Settings, and if you don’t use iCloud your data simply stays on your device. You can erase everything — on your device and from iCloud — at any time from Settings → Wipe app data.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated on-device and are not sent through any server.

Subscriptions and payments

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Third parties and tracking

The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. We do not track you across apps or websites.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date above and post the new version at this address.
